At St Alfred’s, we value the importance of each person being cared for and maturing as a disciple of Jesus in the context of a healthy Christian community. Although congregations meet together regularly at Sunday services, smaller Growth Groups of up to a dozen people meet together mid-week to encourage and support each other. Growth Group members are usually from the same congregation.
What to expect
Growth Groups will usually meet mid-week (during the day or evening, depending on the group). Sometimes groups share a meal together before gathering to study the Bible, pray and just being available to support one another.
